December - Holy Frog is taking a winter break, a respite if you will, from the live shows and in the process has taken up residence at www.myspace.com/holyfrog. A sure sign the apocalypse is in full swing. Sign on, join us there and pass the url along to your friends. Songs from the album will be available for your downloading and listening pleasure and you are encouraged to add a track to your personal myspace page. We promise to put even less effort into maintaining and updating the myspace page, so check back often for updates.

Rod Serling's birthday is just around the corner (Dec. 25) and now is a perfect time to give yourself, your friends and those people claiming to be your family the gift that keeps on giving. You can order T-shirts ($15), Coffee Mugs ($8), Stickers ($2), My By Self ($11) and the Blue Banana EP ($7) through our store (prices include shipping). Or grab the album and ep through our partnership with cdbaby. They all make for nice stocking stuffers and most items can be used as a makeshift nutcracker or radiation neutralizer.

Enjoy your Holy Daze,
Holy Frog

November - Thanks for giving us your support and affection. My By Self continues to soar to the heights of mediocrity and the Blue Banana EP is leading the way. For the ipod crowd, you can now download the entire EP at MusicNet, LoudEye, Apple iTunes, MP3tunes, Ruckus, Etherstream, Emusic, MusicIsHere, MSN Music, MusicMatch, Sony Connect, MusicNow, NetMusic, BuyMusic, Bitmunk, PassAlong, Chondo, WrapFactory, DigitalKiosk, AudioLunchbox, Napster, Arvato, Liquid Digital Media, QTRnote, Next Radio Solutions, Tradebit, Rhapsody, DigiPie, PayPlay, TastyAudio (1776), and iSound . The album is making it's way to the same locations and should be available in its entirety shortly. Presently it can be found on the web at these locations: MusicNet, Apple iTunes, MusicNow, Next Radio Solutions, MSN Music, Tradebit, PassAlong, Rhapsody, PayPlay, TastyAudio (1776), NetMusic, AudioLunchbox, BuyMusic, WrapFactory, iSound, and Emusic. We've also been informed that you can purchase the album and EP at any Best Buy through our partnership with cdbaby.com, but you have to ask for it by name.

In news that's news to Holy Frog, it appears we've infiltrated the halls of academia and believe it or don't, two tracks from the album are being used to help broaden the horizons of lighting and design students at the Arizona State University Herberger College of Fine Arts Department of Dance. We're honored and want to thank the staff and faculty for their superb choice in teaching curriculum. Thanks to the students who took the assignment seriously, as well as those who didn't. We wish you well in your future careers.

So that about does it for November. We realize the news update has been a little hesitant in the posting, but rest assured it is not due to procrastination by the webmaster or FEMA. There is some debate within Holy Frog as to the existence and recognition of November as a legitimate month which has led to some heated discussion, debate and much needed contention within the group.

As always, do your own thing and choose your own view. Now go buy the record.

October - Holy Frog is one of the featured performers on The Flabby Hoffman TV show airing on October 6, 2005. The Flabby Hoffman series airs on CAN-TV Cable Channel 19 every Thursday evening from 11:30pm to 12:30am and is available on all cable carriers within the city limits of Chicago, IL.

We’re pleased as punch drunk love to find Holy Frog being promoted and receiving considerable airplay Down Under on the Australian Worldwide Radio Network - Ison Live Radio - KAOSFM - World Underground Music Show where for the past month every track on the ep and album has been averaging 2 plays per week. Of course, not to be outdone, on the opposite hemisphere of the globe, Serbia & Montenegro are reporting almost daily Holy Frog spins on Radio FEDRA. So it would appear Holy Frog has gone global… and this tadpole is just beginning to mutate and grow.

From thinking globally to acting locally, we’re happy to announce the inclusion of Holy Frog’s Charlie on Painfully Midwestern Comomusic Anthology Volume II; a 2 disc, 45 Mid-Missouri based band compilation being released on Halloween by Columbia, Missouri’s very own Painfully Midwestern Records for an unbelievably low price of $10. The compilation features a 28 page booklet which includes the snazzy smile photo of the dynamic duo snapped by Teriko. Grab a copy while you can, as this compilation is comprised of some of the areas premier artists and the ingenious and diverse music they create. They are sure to go fast.

September -  Something wonderful is about to happen...

Never content to idle, even when taking some much needed time off from the road, there has been a lot of business made about business. A few tidbits of these mentionable noteworthys have been listed here.

No April Fa Fa Fa Foolin': Holy Frog has begun to emerge from its winter hibernation. The sun is shining and the new digs at psychedelic-music.net are more than accommodating. The road, it beckons, and April showers spring May MP3s from the upcoming album. Stay tuned for those, as well as upcoming shows that will be posted as they are confirmed. Check back often and watch the Holy Frog website mutation as it continues.

March into the future: Soon you will find yourself confronted by more Holy Frog than you can shake a hot tamale at, all conveniently located at your closest music retail outlet as your beloved sacred amphibian is close to hammering out the final details for national distribution of the EP and album. Until then you can find the EP at these retail outlets. That’s a hell of a lot of locations, but more are on the way. Be on the look out for Kansas City and Springfield locations coming soon. As always, please support local independent merchants whenever possible by purchasing from locally owned and operated retailers.

Word on the UK street is that Holy Frog's infamous Homo Erectus is featured as part of the 16 March 2005 Jonny Yeah Show on Kooba Radio. Please give our friends overseas a listen.
